Feel one with nature in this garden that contains more than 500 species and over 1,500 varieties of plants from around the globe. You can even see salmon swimming upstream, and listen to the relaxing sound of flowing water.
The garden is located right next to the Ballard Locks, so you can see where the Pacific meets Lake Washington. If you’re lucky, you may even see a boat travel through the Locks!
Chihuly Garden and Glass
This museum features the artwork of the incredibly creative Dale Chihuly. If you’ve never seen his work before, it’s difficult to describe, but imagine what animal balloons would look like if they were made out of glass.
